change management
The sociotechnical complexities of 21st-century change-making are too many to count. But to name a few: shifty markets, stark inequities, polarizing politics, hybrid work, and a future that promises disruption à la AI. Disenchanted with static change models from the dot-com era, I’ve designed a model that assumes change – and resistance to it – is a constant rather than a finite event. The playformer change model is inspired by my art practice and borrows from my training and certification at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. It encourages smart experimentation, early leadership engagement, and storytelling tactics to help organizations prove to themselves that change is possible. The result? Helping organizations and leaders build change agility “muscle” from Day 1 of their transformation efforts.
