I am experienced in conducting market research to identify competitors, content trends, and target audiences specific to an organization’s service or product offerings. I meet with management and team members to identify business objectives and learn about company products. I create content development plans and marketing metrics to support those objectives within the necessary time frame.

Hurdle Health was an early-stage teletherapy company that became the leading provider of culturally intentional therapy by its third year of operations. I worked with Hurdle from its inception to execute its brand and go-to-market strategies. From July to December 2021, I served as Hurdle’s interim VP of Marketing. In that time, I implemented process improvement and reporting initiatives, bringing greater visibility to the company’s direct-to-consumer marketing efforts. Additionally, during my interim role, I successfully onboarded and collaborated with digital marketing vendors to increase the company’s combined reach by 30% across their digital channels.

StartUp Health is a venture capital investment firm that works with early-stage health innovation companies. From 2018-2020, I managed the firm’s online media presence. Working in synch with StartUp Health’s media team, I planned, assigned, developed, and distributed content across blog, podcast, video, and social media channels. Content was developed rapidly, following the cadence of a traditional newsroom, and fed into three weekly email marketing campaigns that promoted the firm’s portfolio of 350+ startups.

Telling a consistent story of MICA’s mission and vision required tangible media resources to empower the broader MICA community to share their communal and individual experiences. I partnered with the MICA Strategic Communications team to create the MICA Communications Toolkit. It is a digital resource with branding guidelines, editorial style examples, and branded templates.
