Change management + organizational transformation

Change is an art.
The humans are the medium.

I’m Nicole Clark. I help leaders navigate organizational transformation with an artist’s curiosity and the discipline to get things done. New technology. New structures. New expectations. Together, we work out what needs to change—and what people need to make it possible.

An artist’s eye. A way forward.

The work of change

What looks good on paper has to work on a Tuesday.

The strategy has a slide deck. Change management has a GPT. Meanwhile, people are asking: Where does my expertise fit now? And when am I supposed to learn all this?

That’s where I work: where the organization’s ambitions meet people’s actual days. We connect decisions, processes, learning, and the conversations that tend to happen after the official meeting.

AI + the human experience

The tools are evolving. So is the existential dread.

AI can change how work gets done—and unsettle what it means to be good at it. Curiosity can sit beside fear. Relief beside anger. A new capability can arrive with a strange sense of loss.

People need somewhere to ask the difficult questions without performing enthusiasm. Leaders need ways to hear those questions, make honest decisions, and give people room to learn while the work continues.

That is part of the change work. It belongs in the plan.

Three ways I help

A little less fog. A way forward.

01

Find the real change.

Get beyond the project title. Identify what changes in people’s work, what leaders need to decide, and what deserves attention first.

02

Work with the human material.

Listen for competing priorities, hard-earned expertise, and legitimate worries. Turn what we learn into clearer roles, workable processes, and useful support.

03

Try it. Learn. Adjust.

Test ideas before asking everyone to live with them. Keep what works, revise what doesn’t, and build the ownership to carry it forward.

The Playformer Process

An artist’s eye. A practitioner’s discipline.

In the studio, a composition changes as you work with it. Organizations have a way of doing that, too. I bring observation, experimentation, and critique to the work, alongside clear decisions, responsibilities, and a plan people can use.

My Playformer Process connects four phases: Prime. Layer. Form. Release. It gives us a method for working through uncertainty, including the parts no kickoff meeting could have predicted.

The practitioner

I’m Nicole Clark.

I’m a change management practitioner, organizational transformation partner, and artist. I work with leaders and teams to make sense of complex change and put it into practice.

I bring formal change-management training and hands-on work across systems, processes, communications, and learning. I also bring a willingness to ask whether the problem we’re solving is the one people are actually having.

What’s changing in your organization?

Bring the challenge as it is: the moving pieces, the competing priorities, the question you haven’t quite named. We’ll start there.

Let’s talk change
